    Come cook with me in Toowoomba and enjoy a nourishing five-course lunch! 

    Create seasonal dishes with vibrant flavours and gut-friendly ingredients — from seed crackers with probiotic cheese dip and fermented carrot garnish, to fresh grapefruit & halloumi salad, truffle-kissed asparagus, spiced orange sticky chicken, and a decadent celebration chocolate cake with a frozen strawberry mousse.

    Learn by doing, ask questions, try new cooking and fermenting techniques, learn gut-healthy recipes your family will love, enjoy sitting down to a delicious 5-course lunch together, and have fun connecting with a group of like-minded people!

    Seasonal Menu

    StarterSeed Crackers with Pimento Cheese Spread (made with kefir cheese) & Fermented Ginger, Garlic & Seaweed Carrot Spirals to garnish

    Salad: Grapefruit & Halloumi Salad with Crispy Walnuts

    Side: Braised Asparagus with Shaved Truffle & Parmesan

    Main: Spiced Orange Sticky Chicken with Butter Sauce 

    Dessert: Celebration Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Buttercream Icing, decorated with edible flowers & raspberry crumble, served with Strawberry Dream

    All dishes are gluten free, grain free, refined sugar free, some dairy free. If you have special dietary needs, please let me know and I will make sure you are catered for! 

    How it works:

    • We start the workshop with a chat about food for healing and an explanation of the dishes we’ll be making (and how they fit into a gut-healing diet)
    • Work together, cooking the recipes with my guidance 
    • Try cooking something you’ve never made before, and watch other recipes being prepared 
    • Learn to brine, butterfly and baste a chicken for a tender, juicy result; learn fermenting skills (veggies, milk kefir & kefir cheese); learn to fillet a grapefruit and make crispy, candied nuts; have a go at decorating a layer cake with buttercream icing and edible flowers… and lots more!
    • Once the cooking is done, sit down and enjoy our delicious lunch together, while discussing the recipes, what everyone learnt, and possible variations for each dish
    • Recipes are included (they will be emailed to you after the class) so you can make them all again at home
